Welcome to Bowls Club, which was opened in October 1963 and is now one of the largest indoor bowls clubs in Europe.
We currently have 1813 members of all ages bowling both competitively or for fun on one of the available 12 rinks. There are a various sessions available, whether you are interested in participating in bowling league games, competitions or improving your game with a coaching session.
The club has great facilities ranging from a shop which includes specialist equipment, free onsite parking, restaurant and disabled access.
The Club is open all year apart from Christmas Day, Boxing Day, 1st & 2nd January and local holiday Mondays.
During the summer period, (May to August), the Club is also closed on Sundays.
The Stadium Opening Times:
8.30a.m. - 10.30pm Monday to Thursday
8.30a.m. – 11.00pm Friday
9.00a.m. – 11.00pm Saturday
9.00a.m. – 10.30pm Sunday (not summer time)
There are full Bar & Catering facilities within the Club.
